DJ Legatron Prime
Sage, better known as DJ Legatron Prime, is a New Orleans based DJ and stylist. Having been a lover of music all her life, Legatron Prime began DJ’ing in 2013. However, Legatron also has a passion for fashion, styling, and vintage clothing.
In constructing her brand, it was important to both of us to create a brand that not only housed space for all of her passions, but fluidly fueled each other.
The Logo
The first step to crafting Legatron’s branded assets was creating a logo that would help set her apart from her competition. In addition, I felt it was important for her logo to be strong enough for the possibility of printing merch and other sellables.
Sunflowers are important to Legatron and so we crafted a logo that looks similar to a sunflower, while visually hinting at a record in the core. The shape of the petals also create the illusion of movement and energy, a necessary element for a DJ.
The website
Her website granted us a lot of freedom to express her brand and her passions. To highlight her styling pursuits, we crafted a series of lookbooks that allowed her to showcase those skills. Each month, a new look was released to keep website engagement active. In conjunction, a new mix was featured.
The Event
To further her brand, we planned a summer event, targeting women. The event was a rooftop dance party, Legatron is a lover of wine and we crafted a special sangria for the event.
